Book a Room and they will plant a tree!

It is noble that LuxuryExplorer.Com is planting trees at their backyard for every hotel room booked through them. It is a social responsibility that all businesses regardless of the industry, should take part in. If only we can get the word out there, and make people aware and be a part of. I would definitely encourage people to book with Luxury Explorer, to help save the world.

During my Post Grad Tourism Management course, I have taken up Sustainable Tourism Development. In this world we live in, it is easy to take the environment for granted when we are earning $$. Either too little or too much of it can put one person or a business off track to being environmentally aware.

The question of how to make a living in a way that upholds laws of nature and keeping the tourist (or consumer) experience authentic is a challenge. At least in the beginning. Until we actually get the grasp of it and then it no longer becomes a big effort.

Just as LuxuryExplorer's efforts to plant trees reflect responsible business promotion, the bigger challenge lies in sustaining and maintaining great projects as these.

Wouldn't the world be a better place to live in if we all do our fair share in maintaining or improving the world's number of trees? At least to begin with.

Argentina - Patagonia Trekking

Patagonia is that vast area occupied majority of which by Argentina (and Chile), where the mountains soar and the valleys endless. A truly amazing sight and a myriad of activities to choose from. One can visit wineries and apple farms at the Valley of the Rio Negro, visit the skiing capital of Bariloche, scuba dive through Golfo Azul (Las Grutas) where the water is always warm, take a peek at the natural habitat of the sea lions, whales, penguins at the Valdes Peninsula, take an expedition to Antarctica after exhausting the beauty of Ushuaia. And there are even so much more to explore and marvel at in this region's extraordinary beauty.
There are luxury tours which include stays at the Helsingfors (180 kms north of El Calafate) or at the Hotel Salto Chico (located on the shores of Lago Pehoe) among other choices. Magnificent views surround whichever area you decide to settle in.
Or if you enjoy roughing it up, then one can set up camp and be one with nature. Torres del Paine and Piedra del Fraile are two camp sites which are popular to nature loving hikers.
Everywhere you choose to go, yearound there will always be something waiting for you in Patagonia!

What does it take to be a traveller?

Nothing and Everything.
Be afraid to try Nothing.
And, be prepared to see Everything.

I have been a Traveller since I've come into this world. From the moment I had an idea that the world was round and one could actually go over and around the globe without falling off (Yes, unfortunately I too had a wild imagination!), I have already wondered about Travelling. My mind would have always travelled to places I have not been to.How was this so? Well, the first step to being a serious Traveller, is to dream of travelling. And then embarking on the actual journey, really is just a matter of time.Quite deep? Ha!

From here on, it's really just all about Travel Dreaming.

Hop on and let's explore the world!
